It is great working in HR as no day is ever the same, and I can make a difference to support business leaders with strategic HR and create engaged employees. I started my business to support SME's create high performing employees and partner them to grow their business.
I have lived in Northamptonshire for 14 years, after moving from the North West, with my husband John. I support The Saints - but St Helens, Rugby League team, and have a Jack Russell terrier who I love to walk round Sywell park. I also volunteer as a CIPD Northants branch committee member.
I started my HR career in the automotive sector, working for a SME with no HR function, and quickly implemented policies and procedures. After completing my CIPD Level 7 qualification, my next move took me to Logistics & Distribution, within the retail and e:commerce divisions, gaining valuable experience in working with unions, building engagement and management development, delivering in-house training and using Thomas International DISC profiling. I developed my employee relations skills further within the retail, tech and service sector. I then implement a start-up operation for Tesco F+F clothing to later support other major high street or e:commerce retailers, such as Harvey Nichols, Whistles, Mint Velvet, Browns and Zara.
How I work
Whilst starting my business, I supported Northamptonshire County Council with resourcing for children's services social workers and really enjoyed supporting Children's Services make a difference to children of Northamptonshire.
From your initial contact, I will arrange a 30 minute consultation with you. This can either be in person, or virtually if you prefer.
